This weekend, AFTRA and SAG went separate ways. It was originally thought that they would join forces in hopes of having better luck at bargaining with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Now that they’ve split, there’s a better chance that an actors’ strike will take place, once again shutting down the film and television industry. Hopefully this can get resolved before a strike begins!

British filmmaker Anthony Minghella died early this morning at the age of 54 due to a brain hemorrhage.
I am incredibly sad as he was an amazing talent. Cold Mountain is one of my favorite movies of all time. I think it is absolutely brilliant. I was actually listening to the soundtrack on my ipod this morning on the train to work.
So sad.
