This weekend, AFTRA and SAG went separate ways. It was originally thought that they would join forces in hopes of having better luck at bargaining with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Now that they’ve split, there’s a better chance that an actors’ strike will take place, once again shutting down the film and television industry. Hopefully this can get resolved before a strike begins!

The New York Times Magazine has started to post a new film series on their website. NY writer/director Brody Baker shot 12 short films during this year’s Sundance Film Festival and they feature stars such as Josh Hartnett, Michael Pitt, and Josh Lucas.

Oscar winner Halle Berry gave birth on Sunday to a baby girl. No word on what her and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, named the infant, but all I can say is that I’m going to miss the beautiful glow she had while she was pregnant.
Word is that mother and baby are doing great.
I wonder how much she’ll get paid for the first pictures of the beautiful family. Will she even pimp out her baby for money? Let’s hope not!

Drew Barrymore is gracing People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful” cover. While the mag states that the people are seen in “no particular order,” since Drew is on top, I’m sure she has an advantage.
I think this is great! A very pretty “normal-looking” girl is seen as “the most beautiful.” About time!!
