This weekend, AFTRA and SAG went separate ways. It was originally thought that they would join forces in hopes of having better luck at bargaining with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Now that they’ve split, there’s a better chance that an actors’ strike will take place, once again shutting down the film and television industry. Hopefully this can get resolved before a strike begins!

The New York Times Magazine has started to post a new film series on their website. NY writer/director Brody Baker shot 12 short films during this year’s Sundance Film Festival and they feature stars such as Josh Hartnett, Michael Pitt, and Josh Lucas.
Today, they posted the first of the episodic series, this one featuring Josh Hartnett. Click here to watch. Each weekday, they will post a new episode.

So Alec Baldwin is not being let out of his contract with NBC for “30 Rock.”
You know what, I don’t think it’s any of our business how he talks to his daughter, because it is HIS daughter. Parents have the right to raise their kids how they want to and that includes talking to them how they want to. Yes, I do not agree with how he did it, but it’s none of my business because it’s not my kid. I wish people would leave him alone!
