Woody Allen has sued American Apparel Inc for using his image and likeness in an ad that appeared on billboards last year in New York and Los Angeles.
The Wall Street Journal says, “ “Allen was unaware that AAI was going to utilize his image on its billboard and Web site. Allen was not contacted, nor did he in any way give his consent to the use of his image and likeness, and he was not in any way compensated for the same, either prior to the infringement or thereafter.”
Allen is seeking damages in excess of $10 million.
Kind of excessive if you ask me.

This weekend, AFTRA and SAG went separate ways. It was originally thought that they would join forces in hopes of having better luck at bargaining with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Now that they’ve split, there’s a better chance that an actors’ strike will take place, once again shutting down the film and television industry. Hopefully this can get resolved before a strike begins!

Entertainment Weekly has posted an exclusive first-look of the upcoming film Wolf Man, which director Joe Johnston took over when Mark Romanek flipped out and walked away from the project a week before filming was scheduled to start.
Their interview features 6-time Oscar winner Rick Baker talking about how him and his makeup team is transforming Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro into the warewolf.

Britney’s father was granted permission from the courts to sell some of her cars, of which she’s currently the proud owner of 7.
He says that selling some of the cars will help out in maintaining his daughter’s financial estate.
Britney will have to get used to appearing in only 4 cars now instead of 7! OH NO!
